2007: Hong Kong - New Zealand - Fiji - Canada - Washington

Hong Kong

We spent four nights in Hong Kong, primarily to enable Janice to obain some tailoring, as well as providing a journey break. The former was very successful, but we also took a bus tour of the New Territories.

New Zealand

We did not have sufficient time to explore both parts of New Zealnd and so we travelled to Auckland and immediately transferred onto a domestic flight to Christchurch in the South Island.

Matamanoa

We spent the night in Nadi, Fiji, after a short flight from Christchurch, The following morning we were taken by speedboat to Matamanoa, a tiny idyllic island surrounded by spectacular corals, for five nights.

North America

The plane from Fiji to Los Angeles was delayed for three or four hours and we had a terrible flight with D, at least, suffering from severe jet-lag.

We then took a side trip to London Ontario, then home after a day in Washington DC.
